PDP's HON. AKEEM BELLO PARTICIPATES IN ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION

Last Saturday, during the compulsory Lagos State monthly environmental sanitation, the minority leader Lagos State House of Assembly Hon. Akeem Bello did not sit and sleep in his house as others would take advantage of instead he jumped out geared up in his work clothes to clean the t-junction at the heart of Kirikiri town.

When Kirikiri News Media visited the site, it was noticed that unwanted plants had overgrown in that once beautiful attractive garden making it a refuse dump site for local dirt collectors and car-park for car merchants.

nonetheless, Hon. Akeem Bello took his time at first light to clear the site himself as he was the leader of the team. 

Lagos state might be dirty in the eyes of all resident and it lies in our hands to make it clean. A leader has shown example of how neatness in the community can cause it to be healthy. A healthy environment brings about a healthy people.

Hon. Akeem Bello has been hyper active in the kirikiri town community ever since he became the constituency representative in May.

Hon Akeem Bello used this medium to call on residents to keep the community clean.

"The community should be kept clean to avoid outbreak of diseases and unpleasant odors and residents should stop dumping refuses on the street and the drainage in order to allow easy flow of water and to control flooding of the community" Hon. Akeem Bello spoke to Kirikiri News Media.
