ORIADE ENVIRONMENTAL COUNCIL REMOVES CORPSE ON CARDOSO ROAD

The Oriade environmental council has responded to calls from residents to remove the corpse of a woman who has been lying in front of a shop on Cardoso road for two days.

The body which was removed today was reported to be the corpse of a mentally deranged woman known to have roamed the streets of Kirikiri town for over a month before her unfortunate death at midnight two days ago.

Hon Akeem Bello received his certificate of return from Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) two days ago at the Lagos INEC head office in Yaba after being elected under the platform PDP.  He won his counterpart of APC by a whooping margin.

In Kirikiri town (Ward D) in Oriade Local Government Council Development Area as well as Lagos state there was a low turnout of voters. Although Kirikiri town could boast of about 33,000 people who reside therein but less than 6000 people casted their votes today to choose their next governorship candidate between Akinwunmi Ambode of APC or Jimi Agbaje of PDP and other House Of Assembly candidates such as Hon. Akeem Bello.
