I LEFT FESTAC TOWN TO VOTE IN KIRIKIRI TOWN – JOE TEGA GIFT

A brief talk with the CEO of JOE TEGA GLOBAL INVESTMENT, Mr. Joseph Tega Gift who is a business mogul in the onshore/offshore shipping industry, the richest and most influential youth in Kirikiri town. We found him this afternoon on the queue at Johnson Street, Kirikiri town (Ward D) struggling to cast his vote. He explained to Kirikiri News the faults of the electorate and his disappointments. He feared that after leaving Festac town (AMUWO ODOFIN LGA) to Kirikiri town (ORIADE LCDA) to vote for his choice candidates.

What do you think of today’s presidential election in Kirikiri town?

But for now, they ought to have diverted to plan B, which is to go through the process of manual accreditation, I think they want to start now which is too late. This is only 3:30pm and they want to stop accreditation at 4pm. It is quite impossible. I don’t know if everybody can still cast their vote. Maybe the election will be postpone till tomorrow for the many crowd present here to cast their individual vote.

Everybody wants to vote. Everybody wants their vote to be counted. I stay in Festac town but my office is in Kirikiri town. I did my PVC registration in Kirikiri town. As a patriotic citizen of Nigeria, I obey the laws of the land. I left my car behind as the law demanded of me. I left Festac town to Kirikiri town for my vote to count.

I will feel bad and disappointed if my vote will not be counted. I really want the INEC to look into this issue and provide us this voting platform to perform our civic responsibility. They ought to have provided technicians on ground to work on this devices. For God’s sake, this is a presidential election.

Nigeria need change. The old one has to go out and anew one has to come in.

Who would you vote for?

For now we shouldn't campaign. For me to say this I might be campaigning so I will go to the secret chamber of this polling unit and vote for my choice.

After the talk Mr. Joe Tega left immediately to humbly join the queue to accredit and vote.

4:48PM …. Kirikiri News…
