"I SUSPECT FOUL PLAY WITH PASSION"– MOSHOOD BADMUS (APC CHAIRMAN WARD D ORIADE LCDA)

A brief talk with the APC Party chairman for Oriade local Government Council Development Area (OLCDA) Mr. Badmus Moshood Olarewaju this afternoon when found on the queue at Johnson street, Kirikiri town (Ward D) struggling to cast his vote. He explained to Kirikiri News his plight and effortless troubles faced in order to fulfill his civic responsibility as a patriotic Nigerian. Survey has it that Kirikiri town alone can produce 1% of the total votes in the presidential election but because of poor supervision, we doubt if the town can produce half of 1%.

The peace and tranquility in the town is quite encouraging as there has been no record of electoral offence since morning?

Of course, we are enjoying Peace but they are trying to provoke the people of Kirikiri town. Most of our polling units did not get accredited.

According to INEC law, accreditation starts around 8am and ends around 1pm but here in Kirikiri town, accreditation started around 1:30pm in centers such as 005, 002 and many others. Polling unit 022 at Alekotile Street are not even present. The four polling units at Kirikiri Maximum Barracks are not present at all. Accreditation started late at polling unit 022 and 024 Central Primary School. Even at Ilado area, they tried to stop accreditation at 2pm yet they did not start at on time. They started at 1:00pm. As I am talking to you now. All the polling units at Navy town has no ballot paper.

I am seriously suspecting a foul play from the INEC supervisor of this Ward, to be precise Mrs. Okoye. I was with her and I told her to call the Ward’s EO that we haven’t started here, but she refused. People troop out to exercise their civic right but the supervisor decides to disenfranchise some people. Navy town and Okoduwa is part of her domain. In Okoduwa (026), they said the INEC official is tired and that they want to go home without voting, the people have insisted that they must finish what they started.

I don’t want to sound as a threat until the end if the election.

However, Mrs Okoye was found at the polling booth with her fully armed police entourage at Johnson Street (polling unit 004) in her low voice calming down already impatient voters. She told them that the card readers malfunctioned and the devise has been sent to the neighboring community for repairs. When asked how possible to conduct a manual accreditation exercise. She said she has got no such authority to give the order to the presiding officer. It was later found out that at 4pm she gave the order to manually conduct accreditation in troubled polling units.

She does not have the power but she has the power to come to her ward collating center without materials? We looked for her until we found her at Dr Lucas MHS. They stared at 3pm, at some point they said that they were short-staffed. This morning they were engaging staff. Asking for their names and number, this morning!!!

What happened to those that were trained? They cannot used the card reader because they were not trained. The card reader functions in other areas but not in Oriade. Why?
I suspect foul play with passion. Quote me, there is no tyrant of circumstances that can permanently imprison a determined will. Do you expect this crowd to go home just like that? The people are highly determined.

Everybody must vote. I must vote, whoever comes out must vote. After all they said you cannot vote without PVC, so we must all vote!

Who will you vote for?

My vote? After introducing myself?

Yeah sure, even with the present issue of decamping, you can still decamp from APC today?
Me badmus… It is SAI BABA …APC!!! APC!!! APC!!!
