People
should stop living in phobia both within themselves and among themselves. The
rate at which this superfluous attitudinal characteristic has eaten deep into
the mind of indigenes and precipitously penetrating into the cognizance of
residents has become
insupportable. Is Kirikiri town the poorest town in the
world? NO!
Residents
in Kirikiri town mainly comprise of assiduous people who presume that they
follow the existing trend of flattering people in the name of humility. When
your fellow guy encounters you on the street, they first begin to flatter you
and make you feel on top of the world. Words like “see as you fresh.” “You just
dey chop your money alone abi, you just forget me”. “Senior man, how far na”
and so on.
These
people who do these things initially use it as a medium of being aware of your
current status, financially or otherwise. But these days even the out growing child
uses this ‘flatterization method’ on his friends and at the end of the day it
all ends up in taxation which if given maybe used on beer or smoke.
There
are so many fantastic people, loving people, rich people wealthy people, but
one would ask where they are? Of course, they exist but on a low key as they
would rather remain indefinite for the reason that they don’t want to be
publicized.
Kirikiri
town is not a poor town. It is high time they get up, stand up take off the
cloth phobia, flattery, ghettoism, idleness, and put on the never-gonna-take-off-mindset
of seriousness and zeal to strive and support younger people’s dream. We can do
it!!!
One cannot
lick his or her elbow. I drop my pen to save some ink..fedricx
