FERMA DOUBLES UP PERFORMANCE

After making sure that Dillion road is at least tolerable to motorists and moderate for pedestrians, the Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA) doubles up its performance today by restoring and giving shape to the road linking out of Kirikiri town which happened to be an unnoticed road, the most busiest, and the road
every one taking an exodus or coming into Kirikiri town must use whether necessary or not. This road however once served as the street where Umunede was located. Umunede was a popular drinking spot on that road before it was demolished.

The road drudgery which started yesterday at Dillion Street moved systematically to the most powerful road in Kirikiri town, which actually has no definite name. FERMA unleashed it wrath on the road with the use of their various caterpillars to grade the road not minding the traffic consequences. It was obvious that everyone complied without hesitation when asked to move their shops and personal belongings. As usual men of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Nigeria Police and Nigerian Navy were on ground to ensure the progress of the little road work.

Minds begin to ponder what is actually going on in Kirikiri town? Why is it that in the past few weeks’ dramatic scenarios has occurred on after the other? It easy to ask but the answer is hidden until when thought necessary to bring to light. NEPA, PHCN did wonders by allowing power till the following day, a rear opportunity which has been denied since July 2013, next it pricks their conscience to make our roads motorable. “I smell a rat”, someone said.

Upgrade in road, power, cleanliness, mind, thought, business, and sensitivity.  In all ramifications, Kirikiri town is currently upgrading its standards without compromising.
