NEOTERIC DEPOT ASSOCIATION OFFICE IN KIRIKIRI TOWN

Just as the name is self-explanatory, Depot Owners Association is only not an association as claimed but has an associated authority to handle pressing issues of concern among depots owners around Nigeria.
The depot according to advanced dictionaries is a storage facility in particular, a warehouse or a bus or a railway or even a place where military recruits are assembled before being sent to active units. It can also be the tableau; the area where cards can be arranged in solitaire or patience games. We pick the first meaning which is a storage facility but in this case, it is used to store oil products such as kerosene, petrol (fuel), and diesel and so on.

The Depot Owners Association have been in existence before the 90’s but finally decided to set up a branch in Kirikiri town. They have branches nationwide. In Lagos state, we have Apapa, Victoria Island, Lagos Island, Ikoyi, Satellite and other branches including Kirikiri town branch. However, this implies that many forms of offshore business thrives and can be done in the following areas because of their riverine nature. Businesses such as; Oil Depot’s And Tank Farms, Fishing, Shipping, Ship Building, Yatch Services, Water Transportation and a host of others not mentioned.

The Oil Depots came into Kirikiri town in 2004 and since then it has fast become the most topical business for the people of Kirikiri town. There are about 7 depots owners in Kirikiri town which are; Swift Oil, Techno Oil, Bovas, Fatgbems and others which are still under construction.

Tankers from all over the nation troop into Kirikiri town to lift oil products on a daily basis. The Depot Owner’s Association Kirikiri town branch office is located at Obollo Crescent. It is close to the oil depots and behind Biola Johnson Crescent.

More grease to their elbow as they continue to do their work without compromise for the interest and progress of the members of association.
