A Toyota sienna was found
in the early hours of today technically parked at Johnson Street, close to Juliana
hotel- the most popular hotel in Kirikiri town. It was not just an ordinary car
as anyone who passed made several comment such as “na wa o nothing wey them no
go import”. The car is a branded car and from all indications it is a New York
City (NYC) airport taxi.
The car which is still in
good shape was driven and parked by a mechanic. The Muritala Mohammed Airport in
Lagos State Nigeria doesn't make use of Toyota sienna as airport taxi.
It was later found out that
the car belonged to a certain man who claimed he bought it and shipped it down
to Nigeria.
Does it mean that the
airport taxi was sold actually or the authorities decided to revolutionize all
airport taxis in New York City?
Anyway the appearance of
the car in Kirikiri town can be seen as a coincidence by the residents at this
time as Kirikiri town is presently and constantly upgrading it standard daily. The
presence also caused a stir as many people saw a car usually seen in the American
movies right in front of them. Some touched it to be sure.
Upgrading comes with a lot
of reform. For this car to be seen in Kirikiri town at this time numerous
significance can be appended to it. It is an endorsement that Kirikiri town
will be like N.Y.C Soon.
