OH LIFE "I MUST SURVIVE" (EPISODE THIRTEEN)

STORY SERIES
…said as she went away.

She threw her head tie down with anger as she entered her stall as if she had a fight with someone. She could hardly speak at first. When she was able to speak she spoke to her daughter who had been
waiting for her.

“I couldn’t believe what I saw. Either Adia is a thief or she is a witch. How could she become so rich in a few weeks?”

“She is not the witch,” it is the beggar’s daughter who is a witch,” answered Rafa. She brought Adia all the wealth. Why did Adia become rich soon after she took over that little girl?”

“See what you have done then,” Doja said. “We should have been the rich people in place of that silly Adia. You drove the girl away when she came to us for help.”

“Ah, it was you who drove her away.” answered Rafa. You even laughed at Adia when the little girl dragged her away.”

“We both laughed, you liar” Doja replied, “We both laughed. If we had not laughed at that girl we should be the ones in the beautiful shop in the shopping centre. Adia would still be in this hole selling pieces of carved wood.”

“Let us not quarrel,” said Rafa. “What are we going to do to get rich like Adia? Shall we look for another beggar’s daughter like Adia and help her?”

“And kill her mother first before we help her? You are a foolish girl. Do you think that every beggar’s daughter is a witch?” asked Doja.

“If we cannot find a way to become rich soon, mother,” said Rafa. “I’ll do anything. I cannot fold my arms and watch Adia make all the money. Didn’t you see the dress she wore? I looked like a real beggar when I stood in front of her.

“Perhaps you are right there” answered the mother.
“I am sure I’ll go mad soon. Adia! I feel like setting her shop on fire. Soon Adia will be driving one of these big cars which the women in the shopping centre drive. Soon Adia’s skin will become very smooth and shinning. Soon Adia will build a house in the Adolo Estate where only rich people live.”

“We must stop her, mother, we must stop her” said Rafa loudly. “Adia must not own a car, she must not build a house, and her skin must remain rough.

“But how?” asked the mother. “How? How do we do it? We must think.”…to be continued on Thursday.
