DRUNKEN DRIVER SMASHES INTO GUTTER

“I and my colleagues were sitting across the road when this car passed us with stroppy speed and almost hit us, then it reversed, with that same speed and entered into the gutter, Gbamm!” an eye witness said.

Kirikiri news gathered that the white Mercedes Benz 230 (V-butt) vehicle had four passengers, three males and one female, seated inside at the time of the accident but none of them were hurt as they struggled out of the car. It wasn't clear where they were coming from but from all indications, the driver’s breath was boozy.

This accident happened on Cardoso road today at 12:04 am. But it is not the first of its kind since the road was interlocked in 2013. About fifteen recorded accidents have occurred on that road. One of them involved a bike man and a loaded tanker. The sufferer was seriously injured and was hospitalized.

This incident ought to serve as a deterrent to road side bars and football viewing centers where customers are compelled to sit outside to take their beverage or stand in multitude to watch football matches. It is not safe!
