In the light of the yearly Muslim celebration, Ramadan Kareen, Muslim
faithfuls in Kirikiri town community gathered to observe the joy which the
season brings in a splendid
lecture hosted by the President, CDA one Youth Forum,
Comrade Sani Abari and courtesy Hon. Ibrahim Ajibola Abari, Councilor Ward D.
The topic of the day was ‘Important Ramadan to Muslims’ and
there were many speakers who did justice to the topic. One of such speakers was
Mukadam Jamiu Odutan who was the guest speaker for the event. Odutan used this
platform to appeal to all Nigerians and Muslims faithful to imbibe the culture
of peace and harmony and he condemned the insurgency of the Boko haram sect rocking
the nation.
“This is the first of its
kind in this community where the Muslim youth converge together for a Ramadan lecture.
We thank almighty all for a successful event. We hope that by this time next year
the program will upgrade. I thank all who showed up. Gratitude to family, Arike
Alayo Olayinka Abari for the support. Special thanks to the CDA members and
executives, councilor, resident s of Kirikiri town, Lagos.
At the end of the prayers and celebration, various types of
fruits were shared in a hamper to all the participants present.
