THE SECRETS OF GAS STATIONS UNVEILED (Part 2)

(NGN 445, 000 * 3) = NGN 1, 336, 500

Within two weeks of sales, the gas station presents fresh order for a refill.

After this short analysis which only seems to interest the business owners alone and not the public, something else of paramount concern further needs to be analyzed.

These pumps which have been properly set by the technicians on installation can also be slightly adjusted in a situation where there is an upsurge in oil commodity prices. Gas stations effect these adjustments with nebulous intent thereby technically fixing the new price of the product below the standard liter scale.

Note that One liter is equal to 1000 milliliters (1ltr=1000ml).

According to the United States scale describing a 1 liter keg and a 4 liter gallon which are visible everywhere around our dwelling – Quick examples are a 1liter Eva bottle water or a 1liter Chivita juice pack/1 liter Hollandia yoghurt pack or I liter coke rubber bottle, or a 4liter engine oil gallon or a 10liter metal military container.

We also have multipurpose gallon which could be in 5liters, 10liters, 25liters and 50liters respectively.

The difference is clear when you visit filling stations with any of the exemplified containers requesting it to be filled up. You find out that the price on the machine will read about NGN101 - NGN103 to fill up that American standard 1liter keg.

Does this mean that the standard scale is being compromised?

Now, the technical trick is that you get about 850ml for NGN97 and complete 1ltr for NGN103 but in the interim it should be sold at an official price which is NGN97 for 1ltr.

Another much more aggravating instance, an act that encourages corruption in the heart of a young child, an issue that ‘scatters ones dada’ according to musician which means ‘to drive one crazy’ needs to be addressed and properly contained…to be continued tomorrow.
