Do you like perfumes? Many people do. Perfume is a mixture of fragrant essential oils or aromatic compounds, fixatives and solvents used to give the human body, animals, objects and living species a pleasant scent. For centuries, people gathered

fragrant plants and extracted the scent to add delight to their collections of perfumes.

The sense of smell, which is sometimes taken for granted, affects several different areas of our lives, sometimes positively, sometimes negatively. The difference is often indicated by the word used to describe the smell. For instance, the words “odour”, “stench” and sometimes even the word “smell” itself, have negative connotations. On the other hand, the words “aroma”, “fragrance”, and “scent” are almost always used in a positive way.

Believers are, to God, the fragrance of Christ. We are to spread abroad the heavenly fragrance of Christ wherever He leads us. This fragrance consists of our clear testimony, our radiant lives and dissemination of the knowledge of God everywhere and to everybody.

Challenge: let others see Jesus in you.
