It was
unclear why a young man in his prime would walk naked on the streets in the Algerian
capital.
An eye
witness said that the man was not smiling, he didn’t look like he did it for
fun
or attention. He just walked seriously and everyone gave him some space.
“The children laughed in amazement. Some
of the ladies and women could not take their eye of him while some of them
cursed at him” the eye witness stated further
