Operatives
of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have recovered a substance that tested positive for methamphetamine from Ifeanacho Victor, a graduate of
business administration – I won’t tell you the school sorry…
The suspect
who hails from Enugu, was caught with the drug weighing 2.185 kilograms at the
Muritala Mohammed Airport, Lagos while checking passengers on board Ethiopian
airline en route Malaysia.
Ifeanacho
who resides in Badagry area of Lagos was promised $3500 by a syndicate if he
successfully smuggled the drug to Malaysia.
“It
was very disappointing for a university graduate who knows the implication of
his action to get involved in drug trafficking. He was taking drugs to Malaysia
where he would have been executed if caught with narcotics. I am happy with the
arrest” expressed Mr. Ahmadu Giade, the Chairman of NDLEA.
