EARLY MORNING WALL ATTACK

This morning at about 8:00 am, an accident occurred between a car and a wall. Many of us woke up wondering how a wall which was standing firm last night, a wall which has subdued resounding waves and also survived almost a million cubic meters of rainfall annually collapsed overnight. The Toyota Camry car left its owner’s compound heading for Wilmer, Olodi Apapa but it never knew it would end up inside a wall.

Although a learning sign was not tagged to her car, the driver who was a woman claimed she was learning how to drive. “I don’t know what happened; all I knew was that my husband's car hit the wall with great force. I think the brake failed’’ she said bitterly.

The car wasn't totally damaged as the front radiator cage was the only part that was condemned but one of the headlamps was also broken and the bumper was scratched. Although the car had a head on head collision with a wall, the driver was not hurt and the car wasn't totally destroyed as though it hit a wall. The wall isn't as strong as the car because it fell completely.

The wall, however, have been rebuilt without wasting time because it is one of the important places in Kirikiri town. The entire compound comprises of several organizations such as Prophetic Liberation Ministries, Body of Christ International School and Christ Kingdom Power Center Incorporated.

We need to be cautious because an accident considering its dictionary meaning is something that can take place anytime, a coincidence. Let us be careful or will you rather be an accident victim? Let us be careful of cars and trucks and also perform the crossing drill which is look left, right, left, right and left  because accidents are really real.
