Doubts have
been clarified and keen understanding have been pointed out to all that one of
our very own, a lady of great potential, a singer, an individuality that alleviates
and edifies her listeners with her soft noteworthy vocal sound. She definitely
needs more
introduction as she was once the 1st runner up of the prestigious
Peak Talent Show and the recent 1st runner up of the just concluded MTN
Project Fame West Africa Season 6. Of course I am talking about Immaculate
Patience Edache.
She absolutely
owes no one an apology for her achievements as she has indeed made history and her
achievements has increased the reputation and communal standpoint of Kirikiri town
among its colleague towns, however not forgetting her family.
After her
victory was announced, she was presented with a billboard cheque and a gigantic
cardboard paper key. People doubted it was real, while others presumed they
were just mere official formality that is already an award presentation norm. Some
others believed she would never get the money and the car until next year; some
even had a bet that MTN will not give the winners anything, that it was just a
trick.
Perhaps
they were all put to shame as Immaculate was presented with her cash and a Hyundai
car as promised. She knelt down in thanksgiving to God almighty; I assume, but
the car might actually thing it was being worshiped.
Her joy
exceeded that of when a baby is born to a couple after 50 years of unfruitfulness.
She thanked MTN, her family, friends, fans and well-wishers equally for their
solid support.
When the
car arrived her residence at Akere street, Kirikiri town, many did not realize
as the car was thought by all to carry the MTN logo and fully display her name
all over it but to their greatest surprise they were all shocked to notice that
it was only written at the plate number area “PF 6.0 1ST RUNNER UP”.
It took some while for everyone to realize that the much awaited car has
arrived. Surprisingly the car stayed for a few time and disappeared. Where did
it go all of a sudden?
We wish
her a profitable career and always pray she succeeds for she has joined her
other counterparts as a pride of Kirikiri town.
