Caterpillars
have been recently found parading themselves on streets smoothening and leveling
them simultaneously. These machines do this with the intent that if the street isn't smooth, there shall be no rest.
They move
to and fro about 5 times to make sure the job is excellent. Who would have
thought that Akere Street is wide enough to contain a caterpillar but it did. Who
would ever have thought that Agunbiade Street which used to be an eyesore could
become walkable?
Johnson
Street, Abiola Johnson crescent wasn't left out as well in the smoothing activity.
The local
construction company that is in charge of this wonderful activity, K-townies appreciate
the effort.
“I cannot
believe my eyes” said an Agunbiade resident identified as Ikechukwu. While some
others expect to see this activity spreads to their own street, others however collect
the heavy stones excavated by the caterpillar to put at their door step thereby
upgrading their homes.
Our motto
remains… Upgrading Standards.
