The Prison Staff School is located
inside the Prison barracks beside to the female prison and opposite the Kirikiri
stadium.
This school is an initiative maintained
by The Prison Officers Wife Association (PROWA) this
same association once
owned an array of shops which was famous as Umunede by the resident and
visitors of Kirikiri town.
Today was however the day that was
decided to mark the schools end of the year party and to bring to an end
teaching activities for the year.
The event was one that will not be
forgotten in a hurry as many of the children displayed their various talents
both in singing, dancing and in what they have learnt all through the year.
Father Christmas which happened to be
the most mind-blowing character of the event made the children delighted as he
danced loosely. Other funny acts were present to cheer the children up.
They children departed home with splendid
gifts and their teachers also. The music played extensively even after the
party had ended.
Many of the parents were present to
celebrate with their wards.
The prison staff school is a school
where children learn a lot of vocational studies aside the normal school
curriculum and it happen to be in secure location and it is a good school to
train your ward.
Gratitude to the parents and teachers, heads
of departments, head mistress and all who made it possible for this event to
come out successful. Kirikiri town appreciates.
