THE PLATFORM – WHO SAYS KIRIKIRI PEOPLE AREN'T TALENTED?

The program was scheduled for red carpet at 3 pm and show starts at 4 pm. The program didn't start on time because African time was aptly observed. The organizers couldn't start with about 40 people already present and seated as at 3:30 pm.  DJ smile kept the arena and guest regaled with his fine music as he played them
methodically.

This event is A Joint Future Kings Academy Production (TEAM JFK) titled “THE PLATFORM”. The platform is an initiative which aims to create a medium for young people to be engaged; make use of their talent, dare to make it in life and overcome the fear to failure as well as the ideology of blaming every set back on their background and government. The objective of this program is to partner with individuals and corporate entities in providing an annual ‘platform for young talented individuals to identify with themselves, discover latent potentials and give them a compass to journey in the line of their passion and purpose in life.

Apparently, the motive of TEAM JFK revealed itself to be sincere as many about to happen artists, comedians, actors, and actresses graced the platform to exhibit their endowments. Comedian and Mc. Onyinye Calabar, Mc. Nonye and Mc. Fada were the hosts of the day. These MC’s were creatively boisterous and they hosted the event expertly with glamorous acts of melodramatic clowning that amused the audience.

There was a performance called life which left a lingering thought in the mind of participants. “life means living in future expectation “this is spot on.

The program finally started with an opening prayer by the President of TEAM JFK, Mr. Tennyson O. Okirikpo at 5:40pm. This event is proudly Kirikiri town instigated.
The ushers looked pleasing to the eye on their orange and gold collar round necked evening dress as they ushered in guests from within and outside Kirikiri town to their seat inside the up-to-the-minute Prisco hall located beside the prison staff club, medium barracks Kirikiri town.

Thrilling and certified plays were carried out by the Kekere Igi Dance Troupe. - This dance troupe performed many dramas of class. They depicted the solution to glitches in Kirikiri town and how they could be applied by the youths. This play was their biggest as it took most of the time. They also did others such as unwanted pregnancy and HIV awareness. They practiced very hard to make their performance exceptional. These drama varieties however, depicted how youths needed to be more hardworking and creative in all they do.
Artists present were popular 2 smart whose style is well pronounced by his performance and fast upcoming talent, Young soul – known for his energetic attitude when on stage.
Other artists in attendance were Benny Soundz, Slimfit, Mc Nature, Stunt 101, Small Head, DJ Smile, Sololo, Saint Rhymz, Chima Raph and Janet.

The crowd cheered as various artists stormed the ‘platform’ stage to perform their own music.

About 400 people were in attendance. Whenever there is a program in Kirikiri town, Kirikiri people will be available to support. Kirikiri people encourage talent, they love to listen, learn and they enjoy relaxing in the comfort of their very own. The people of Kirikiri town yearn for this kind of platform in order to show off their talent, standing ovation to TEAM JFK for this well organized program and to many others who stood strong as the foundation backbone of the program, and to all those who made the platform a success.
