JERSEY NIGHT – END OF THE JAM GALORE

Immediately it was 11:25pm, an articulated vehicle known to carry 40ft containers parked in the middle of Airport Road and the DJ began setting his many equipment for the proposed show tagged ‘Jersey Night’. This vehicle served as the event’s stage.
To many, this street carnival/jam was slated on an illogical date but to their greatest surprise, their let-me-just-see-how-it-goes attitude turned out to be some sort of ‘pleasing’.
The program which ended the street carnival galore in Kirikiri town was organized by the guys of Airport Road. The show is in its 9th season and Dj Spirit from Olodi-Apapa who was the music man explained that he had played 5 times for this same show.

In a short conversation Solomon, Head Organizer of the show, a reporter with Kirikiri news asked “You are the organizer of a great show that is in its 9th season, what is the aim and how does it impact positively on the youth of Kirikiri town?” “Right now, I am not myself, but the DPO of Kirikiri police station knows about it and there is maximum security guaranteed”, said Solomon.

Big blend, Saint nautical, School boy, Solo low aka Alaje, Ejino, Born champion (Ajegule) were the nights performing act. The best performance of the night was from solo low as he received much cheers from the crowd. Something unforeseen happened when the artist from Ajegule sang and sang until he was chased out of the stage.
Kirikiri town is fast becoming an entertainment hub. As long as there is music every other thing is set because this makes them happy.

Our motto remains…Upgrading Standards.
