The Kirikiri police
station is located on Kirikiri town family way in Kirikiri town and resident
acclaim their effort to uphold the mission which is to protect lives and
property.
Although, outlandish
as it appeared finding a police checkpoint on a street which is renowned only
to
be obstructed by some youths during festive period for the reason that pecuniary
funds is being gathered for their end of the year party, only a few eyebrows
were aroused.
The police
mounted a checkpoint on Cardoso Street. This caused a little traffic as
residents on their way to work asked themselves, what was going on?
“There must be
a reason why they are here” an onlooker said as he walked pass looking left and
right before crossing the road.
A white colored
van presumed to have in stock barrels containing oil products was parked on the
side of the road and was being checked. The police van parked opposite Johnson
street junction while the police men spread themselves technically and
strategically at various positions. They were there for almost an hour.
