According to sources, Kirikiri news gathered that the incident which led to a deep broken bottle facial cut to the victim was caused by a friend of his who bought a stolen phone.

The friend who bought the phone was lured into a trap using BBM messenger on the Blackberry phone. The actual owner bought another Blackberry phone and disguised himself as a lady then added his former BBM PIN in a determined feat to get the phone back. Be it as the case may be, the guy fell when he visited the acclaimed lady after a long while of romantic chats (I guess that DP he used was enchanting). When he arrived and found out that the beautiful lady was nowhere to be found, the actual owner immediately pounced on him requesting answers to how he got the phone.

He sincerely let him understand that he only bought the phone from a friend but he was later arrested by the police. Two Days later,

“Na you go tell them say, I sell stolen phone for your friend abi (right)? Expressed the suspect, Then in rage, He broke a bottle and stabbed the victim multiple times including on his face. However, others who tried to disarm him had some cuts also. The victim lost a lot of blood and flesh too.

The police arrested and took the suspect to the station on 4 count charge of attempted murder, felony, upsetting Kirikiri residents, and disturbing national peace, while the victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
