St. Cecilia Choir of St. Joseph Catholic Church hosted the Apapa deanery choir monthly convention. The Apapa Deanery Choir comprises of all the choir members, choir masters/mistress, music coordinators and directors in all the Catholic Church deaneries in Apapa. Lagos

Their monthly convention is where the host church choir renders the deanery anthem and series of special songs is a meeting of catholic choristers in Apapa.

“We are happy to have hosted the convention this June. We hope to host it another time soon” the ST. JCC choir coordinator said.

It was expected that the hall used for the event would be so well decorated but it was however left stark unadorned. Our sources revealed to Kirikiri news that it isn't necessary for the hall will be decorated or even refreshment served but then again, it depends on the hosting parish.
