A 27-year-old man, Saturday
Aigbedion, has been remanded in prison for allegedly
having a carnal knowledge of one Chikere Okereke.

Saturday was remanded by an Oredo
Magistrate Court in Benin City after he was arraigned on a one- count charge of
unnatural offences.
He, however, pleaded not guilty to
the charge.
Police Prosecutor, Sylvester Omor,
told the court that the accused committed the offence at Erie Street, Off
Sakponba Road,Benin, last December.
The prosecutor said the offence
contravened section 214 (1) of the Criminal Code.
He is liable to 14 years imprisonment
if convicted.
