CHIBOK GIRLS NOT YET RELEASED - DEFENSE HQ

Wide-spread speculations filled the air and atmosphere yesterday concerning the release of the abducted Chibok girls which made everyone happy but questioned "how was it done"..Anyway it will interest you to know that The Defence Headquarters has denied speculations that the abducted Chibok girls have been released.

The Spokesman, General Chris Olukolade told The Nation that the report was not true.

He however told the BBC that some girls who are not Chibok girls are now in safe custody in the military barracks in Maiduguri.

The Defence headquarters on Tuesday night tweeted on its tweeter handle @DefenceinfoNG  ” The Story circulating in respect of release of the #Chibok girls is untrue. Buses drove into the barracks but conveyed other individuals.”
