"LET THE SCHOOL CHILDREN REMOVE THE DEBRIS" - LGA

THE RENOVATION DEBRIS ABANDONED IN THE SCHOOL PREMISES
Two weeks ago, the Oriade Local Government Development Council recently completed the renovation of six classrooms of the first school in Kirikiri town and they have left the renovation debris lying there in the school premises.

Kirikiri news gathered that the debris was however left there because the OLCDA has not paid for its removal and therefore should remain there.
School activities haven’t resumed yet and it is however guaranteed that the innocent pupils will be punished with the task of clearing up the renovation debris as soon as they resume school.

Apparently Residents claim that this is the only project the LGA has done in the ward under the chairmanship of Hon. Sanusi and councillorship of Hon. Ajibola Ibrahim Abari.

“I am disappointed! Since they were elected into office three years ago, using our votes, this is the only thing they did. If not that about two classes had a fire incident, it would have been neglected. Look at how bad our roads are, now I hear that they want to contest for another term in office? How?” a resident Olanrewaju exclaimed.

At the time of filing this report, when Kirikiri News tried to reach the Chairman and Councilor, their phones were not available as they are both in Mecca, Saudi Arabia in observance of the Hajj.
