CHIEF AWUJALE RENOVATES DRAINAGE AT MAGBESA STREET

The CEO Earth Movers Ltd Chief Babalola Shabi popularly known as ‘Awujale’ has added another achievement to his long manifesto of making sure Kirikiri town is upgraded.
The drainage system and road network has been a major concern of the residents of Magbesa Street for a long period of time. Cars cannot pass freely at the end of the street. During heavy rainfall there is always a flood there because of the congested drainage.

Several people who built temporary residential spots, shops were notified of the drainage dredging and construction months before.
“The notified individuals moved out with understanding and knowledge of the development” Mr. Sunday said.
Kirikiri news gathered that one of the affected persons is a Dee jay (DJ Billion).
“There is always flood here whenever it rains because of the poor state of the drainage and cars cannot pass here even during the dry season, there is no road connection. You cannot drive from Otun Street to Magbesa. But after this construction, it will be possible and this standard of development would also be done to link Magbesa and Tariah Street. I thank Chief Babalola Shabi for embarking on such a heavy project” the Owode-Ijere youth Forum President (CDA2) Mr. Sunday said.
Kirikiri news learnt that the dredged gutter ways will carry water coming from Magbesa, Otun, Fakande, Tariah and Imam Busari streets and channel it into the sea right behind Earth Movers ltd.

However, Chief Babalola Shabi’s phone wasn’t available as he was not in the canton at the time of filing this report.
