The quick-witted bold carnival team stormed the
streets today to create awareness and raise
coffers for the street carnival
coming up on the 27th of December.
The event which took place this morning at 10am was
quite hilarious and creative at the
same time as they were fully dressed in
costumes. One dressed as Father Christmas while the other as Barney. It was
hilarious watching father Christmas not giving gifts but collecting.
Barney was
extremely excited as he danced stylishly; he even danced ‘Etighi’. They all danced
to the tune coming from Dj Olopa who is one of the top Dj’s in Kirikiri town. Johnson
street junction was selected as their fun spot.
Everyone in their car, okada, even bicycle that passed
by were pleased with the innovative idea the team applied; therefore, they appreciated
them with something tangible in support of their program.
The president of Bold carnival Mr. Martins spoke to
Kirikiri town family, saying that he loves Kirikiri town, he loves the street
and this is the third annual edition of bold carnival. He added that he wants
bold carnival to be greatest festival in Kirikiri town”
This year’s carnival promises to be the ‘bomb’ as
immaculate (1st runner up project fame), 2 smart and a host of stars
will perform live.
Kirikiri town, a place where talents never get
wasted.
