The late coach Osaro
Ojo brought coach Lawrence Orairo as his assistant although he coached a team
at the national stadium but be heft it to join the new team because he had the
passion to coach a team in Kirikiri town and he wanted to make an impact in
where he
lived. The coach Osaro died in 2008 and Coach Lawrence assumed full
responsibility of the club.
Coach Lawrence is the
organizer of Eko O Ni Baje Cup, an annual football tournament that had the
presence of teams from several local governments in Lagos state. A team in
Kirikiri town beat his team to win the maiden edition of the tournament.

Coaching is his only
profession as he was once a professional player with Bendel insurance, New
Nigerian Bank team, NNPC team, NEPA team (Lagos and Benin). He started his
football career in Benin and ended up starting his coaching career in Benin
with the same team he once played for.
He was called up to
play for the national team but for injuries sustained he couldn’t make it. His
playmates were the likes of Steven Keshi, Nwosu Edobor, Orairo, Austin Popo,
Tarila Okporowanta, Henry Nwosu etc
Fondly called Orizo,
Orash by his team mates, he was a defender who could be flexible at any wing of
the pitch of play. He was part of the team that won the elusive WAFU CUP in
1983-84.
Our motto
remains…Upgrading Standards.
