Endangered
species are animals or plants that are soon to die out. This means that once
they become extinct, they will never be seen on the face of the earth again. It
is estimated that 27,000 species become extinct each year. Species become
extinct because
the rate at which they die off surpasses the rate at which they
are replenished.
The
psalmist in our text raises alarm on the reality of another kind of endangered
species, the disappearance of the godly from the face of the earth. Righteous
boys and girls are scarce commodities in schools today. Some of these
youngsters, including church goers and those who lay claim to be born again are
involved in armed robbery, examination malpractice, immorality, and fraud. As a
youth, if you are involved in some of these evils, you need to repent and
surrender your life to Christ today.

Are you born again, or just a church goer.
