The term mother tongue originated from the notion that a child’s linguistics skills are shaped by the mother and therefore the 

language spoken by the mother would be the primary language the child would learn. The first language of a child is part of his personal, social and cultural identity. 

It is an indispensable instrument for the intellectual, moral and physical development for growing child. However, offspring of parent who contracted intertribal or interracial marriage should not use the circumstance of their birth to explain away their failure or inability to speak their native language.

It is common for sinners to speak wordly language. Before you can speak the heavenly language, you must allow Christ to transform your heart and mind. Then, as a Christian youth, you must always speak edifying and polite words in the home, school and neighborhood.
