OIL DEPOTS FINALLY COMPLETES CARDOSO ROAD

Cardoso road has finally been completed by the Oil Depots Association Kirikiri town Branch. The contractors, Sammy and Sons Construction Limited under supervision of Engineer Elete and sub-contractor Engineer Ernest took over from the run-away

contractor (name withheld) one month ago.
The almost 1200 meter Cardoso road project gulped the sum of NGN 44M which came after much agitation by the community youths. Cardoso road before its reconstruction was in a total mess yet served as a major exit route used extensively by articulated trucks out of the oil depots
Residents express gratitude to the Oil Depots as they have shown that they care for the welfare of Kirikiri town community by constructing a road. However other residents say that road stoppers should as well be built on the road to clamp down on accidents caused by vehicle and bikes (okada) operators.
The Oil Depots have promised to construct Karimu road and Kirikiri town family way in a bid to further validate their undying willingness to upgrade Kirikiri town in their capacity.
During the construction
The Cardoso road construction started in July 2013 and was completed in September 2014.
